Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

A Journey in Faith 

 

Are you a MSU student interested in joining the Roman Catholic Church? 

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the normal way in which adults who express a desire to become fully initiated Catholics engage in a process of conversion, receive basic catechetical instruction, and are welcomed into the Catholic community.

 

Who is it for?

 

Candidates: Individuals from other or no faith tradition(s) who desire to become part of the Catholic faith community through Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist AND/OR baptized Catholics who are seeking Eucharist and/or Confirmation.

 

Sponsors: Confirmed Catholics who wish to support the faith journey of a candidate.

 

Seekers: Anyone who wishes to learn more about the Catholic faith.

 

Meetings: RCIA meetings will be held weekly on Thursday`s at 7pm starting September 28th.
